Maureen is a modern quilt pattern designer and teacher. She taught herself to sew around the age 9 or 10 and made her first quilt her senior year in high school.

With a passion for fabric, color, and storytelling through stitches, Maureen loves helping others discover the joy of quilting. She brings a fresh, modern twist to traditional quilting, blending classic blocks with bold colors, innovative layouts, and contemporary techniques. She specializes in both traditional and improvisational piecing. Her classes are for students just starting out or looking to refine their skills with a focus on creativity, confidence, and making quilting approachable and fun. Maureen loves helping quilters push the boundaries of tradition while honoring the craft’s rich history.
